We spent the day in the Needles area of Canyonlands National Park. About a hundred degrees all day. We hiked a few miles and were amazed at how empty this part of the park was. It is not very developed and very much out of the way but stunningly beautiful! Well worth the trip and highly recommended!

Woke up this morning in Durango, CO and it is 56 degrees outside. I had to put on a sweater! I love Colorado weather in the summer! We are staying at Alpen Rose RV park. It is sold out due to vactioners and Coloradoans trying to escape from the smoke.

We stayed in Post, Tx last night in a mom and pop RV park. Off of a dirt road and quiet!
Tonight we are in Santa Fe, NM at Santa Fe Skies RV park. Nice park with a nice view overlooking Santa Fe.

We are planning a 2 month vacation to 5 National Parks this summer. I hoarded all my vacation and rolled as many hours as I could to take off a big block of time. Anyone have any suggestions for should not miss out of the way places near Glacier, Yellowstone, Capital Reef, Zion or Canyonlands?
